Airfare  

Try flights into Grand Forks (GFK) or Fargo (FAR). Flights into FAR will require transportation from Fargo to Grand Forks (1hr on I-29).

If you choose to drive to the Memorial Union, you will need a parking pass to park in most lots on Campus. We recommend Passport Parking in the parking ramp or the Columbia Hall lot. Otherwise, there are select pay lots located north of the Gershman Graduate Center on University Avenue.

Students are encouraged to utilize the Campus Shuttle System or look for parking around the University park neighborhood.

Grand Forks offers a variety of lodging options throughout the city. A number of options can be found on 42nd St. We recommend:

At the venue

SCALAR is located in the Memorial Union which has a number of food options, including Panda Express, Chick-Fil-A, 1883 Grill, Dakota Deli, University Ave Pizza, Starbucks, and Express Convenience Store. Also on campus is Short or Tall, the Boardroom, and the University Museum of Art Cafe.
